Install the Shelly 1L Gen3 easily behind your wall switch, outlet, or near your device, and connect via WiFi with the app. Shelly offers a free app that allows you to set up a smart home system easily and affordably without the cost of a gateway or hub. After setup, you can also control the switch wirelessly with the app from anywhere in the world, integrate it into smart scenes, and set timers, such as turning on your light at sunset. Voice control with Siri, Google Assistant, or Amazon Alexa is also available. The open source ensures that you can integrate the Shelly 1L Gen3 with almost any home automation system.

The Shelly 1L Gen3 relay switch supports 220-240VAC, requires Bypass to be installed at the light between switched load and neutral wire (except for incandescent bulbs), minimum 5W Bulbs and up to 200W, features the Shelly ESP-Shelly-C38F chip with 8MB of memory. The 8MB provides more storage for updates and a possible Matter Firmware update in the future. It also has Bluetooth for easy connection to your home WiFi, overheat protection, enhanced security with MQTT + SSL, MQTT combined with Cloud and scripting. Additionally, the terminals (screw connections) have been improved and are now suitable for up to 2.5mm², which was sometimes an issue with the old variant and the 2.5mm² wire behind the wall switch.
